Great British Tennis Weekend - Joseph Hood, Merton - 17th August 2013

Saturday 17th August 2013 at Joseph Hood Recreation Ground, Merton saw nearly 100 Tennis enthusiasts flock to the Tennis courts! My thanks go to David and Sally for running an excellent Under 10's ship and also to Adrian and Charles who commanded a great, 4 hour adult and junior session! I would also like to extend my thanks to Russell, James and Steve who kindly volunteered to support the day's programme but were also fortunate to honour many players with their prizes which ranged from sweatbands, strings and of course Tennis balls!!

Tennis For Free Success Story

A press release went out only recently regarding MjChangwereza, more commonly known as ‘Junior’ who began playing Tennis back at the tender age of 5, when her mother spotted an advert about Tennis For Free in the local Epsom paper.This followed attending the launch of the first Tennis For Free in Epsom session at the tail end of 2008, which was as the time, led by myself and I was responsible for the development of two TFF programmes in Epsom.....please read the press release below for further information regarding this Tennis For Free Success Story.
